Human Remains Detection (HRD)- Open Area Searches Temecula Ca! The Scentsable K9 is excited to conduct an HRD Open Area Search 1 day seminar in Temecula Californian! We have access to approximately 150 acres including farms, vineyards, canyons, industrial, and open areas. Searches may be have multiple sources of target odor. **K9 Handler's will be required to wear all of their gear as if this were an actual deployment** Your instructor- Pete Stevens- retired from law enforcement after 31 years. During his career, Pete handled 4 dogs both for patrol and detection. Pete is a K9 team evaluator for California Peace Officer Training and Standards (CA POST) , Certifying Official for the California Narcotic Canine Association (CNCA) and a Board Member of CNCA. Pete is also a Trial Judge for NACSW. This will be a working lunch seminar so please be self contained - the below image is of the areas available for searching.
