City Hippy presents Chapters: Don't close the book. turn the page.
SPEAKERS:
Sarah Piccoli: Sarah is a seriously fun and “blaringly unique” biracial mom, sales leader, and coach with ADHD. Once fueled by stress and self-doubt, Sarah has transformed her life through the practice of radical self- acceptance. Rather than trying to change her story, Sarah owns her story and is obsessed with helping people do the same with as much laughter as possible!
2Knowledge 1: 2Knowledge1 has been an educator, advocate and Hip Hop historian for over 25 years. He has facilitated workshops for performance and writing and has MCed many poetry slams across the state of Massachusetts. He is the founder of Merrimack Valleys aka Tha Valley’s annual Pound Tha Mic Poetry Slam event and has worked in community organizations like UTEC, Rape Crisis Centers and the YMCA to name a few. “Knowledge,” as the community of Lowell has nicknamed him for his teaching ability and for his wealth of knowledge in American History, is a youth advocate and is currently running for school committee in the city of Haverhill.
Melissa Cerasuolo: Melissa has a true belief in always giving back. While experiencing a dark chapter in her life, she found the light by volunteering in her community... it quite literally saved her life. She encourages people to give 1 hour of their time or $1 of their income to an organization that pulls at their heartstrings. Her give-back would be youth basketball - what's yours?
