Join us at Venue Restaurant in the Lounge's NE/Lancaster Room at 11:45am. Becky will be speaking to us about steps that everyone can take to prepare their own estate. Passcode: 609676 In 2016, Becky Daniel's father passed away, leaving her and her brother to close a loved one's estate for the first time. This led to frustration, confusion, and a 3-year investigation so no one else had to go through the same experience wrapping up another's life affairs while grieving. After 30+ interviews with will executors, funeral directors, probate lawyers, accountants, hospice workers, those working with veterans, and countless individuals, Becky finally identified 10 steps every person could take to be ready for death. Becky is passionate about making complicated processes simple to follow, which is why she loves being a marketing automation manager at Nelnet in Lincoln, Neb. She earned her communication degree from Union College, and a masters in Integrated Media Communications from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Becky and her husband are happily expecting their second child in December 2021. Her current craving is anything dark chocolate.
