Today - Tuesday, November 2, 2021 - the Día de los Muertos Celebración will continue rain or shine. In case of rain all activities and performances will move inside the Hughes Family Tribute Center at 9700 Webb Chapel Road, Dallas, Texas 75220. “Los Espiritus del Bosque” will be on display inside the Mausoleum located at 9718 Webb Chapel Road.

The Hughes Family Tribute Center will present its seventh Día de los Mueyofthedeaddallas.com Cotwo days, Tuesday, November 2 and Saturday, November 6, 2021 in Crown Hill Memorial Park & Mausoleum. The cemetery, located in the Bachman Lake area, is traditionally visited by families on Día de los Muertos. The Celebración builds on this tradition by presenting an opening parade; dance performances by Grupo Pakal Mayan Dance Company; mariachi music by Mariachi Lone Star; community art projects; children’s entertainment; a live concert by Latin band, Fusión Latina; a screening of the movie, Coco; and food and beverage concessions. Featuring the original costumes and decorations of artist Ricardo Alarcon, the Celebración will explore the heritage and cultural traditions of this Mexican and Central American holiday. The Celebración is free and open to the public.
