Public invitation to tour our space on Wednesday, Nov. 10 starting at 4:30 p.m. so all can see our dream and mission. Tour starts at 5:30pm Join Chef Dave Heide as he tells the story and vision of Little Johns' future. The new location will include a pay-what-you-can restaurant, a large-scale kitchen and freezer space to provide meals to area non-profits, assisted living centers, nursing homes, and public sector programs who have a meal program as a secondary part of their work, a community center for other nonprofits to fundraiser and host events, gender neutral bathrooms, showers + an onsite social worker. We are also offering a training space for military veterans and individuals to take a paid, 6-month culinary training internship with the opportunity to continue their careers in the culinary arts after their internship is over. We are entering our build phase of 5302 Verona Rd. but before we do that, we want everyone in the community to know what we're doing and where we need your help! Refreshments provided :)
