Please join Hanshi Larry Isaac and Larry Isaac's Martial Arts Center for our annual Valentine's Classic martial arts tournament! This tournament will have staggered start-times: 0900 - 1100 will be all competitors 11 years old and younger 1100 - 1pm will be all competitors 12 - 17 years old 1pm will be the start time for adult competitors (18 years old +) Check-in will be ongoing; same-day competitor registration will be $100 to encourage everyone to pre-register for $80. Spectator tickets will be $20; children 5 years old and and under are free. The featured events for each competitor will be: Empty-hand Kata; Weapon Kata; Sparring. All competitors participating in the sparring event will be required to have foam-dipped gear, a mouth-guard, and protective equipment as needed (groin cup, chest protector). Durham has an indoor mask-mandate; please plan accordingly! If you intend to stay at the hotel, please call the hotel directly to inquire about the group rate for this tournament.
