Hands -on Volunteer Activity at Project 150 - because High School IS Hard Enough! Each November, POWHer gives thanks by giving back to the community with a volunteer activity. This year the Las Vegas Chapter of POWHer of WE has again selected local non-profit Project 150. Project 150 helps more than 6,300 registered and non-registered homeless, displaced and disadvantaged high school students get what they need to succeed now and beyond. Join us . . . This year's activity will be to help Project 150 prepare boxes and staging for an anticipated 2,000 Thanksgiving Meal Boxes for homeless students and their families. There are 2 ways to participate on Wednesday, November 17: 1. Hands-on Project | 9AM - 12 PM (Registration Required) Dress Code Comfortable: shirt, pants and close-toed shoesFace mask (FYI: face shields are not a substitute for face masks)Cost to Participate: A few hours of your time Address 3600 N Rancho Dr, Las Vegas, NV 891302. Donation Item Drop Off | 9:30AM - 4:30PM Requested Donation Items Teen Appropriate Clothing (New & Like-New)Men and Women's ShoesFull Size (unopened) Hygiene ProductsUnopened/Unexpired Non-Perishable Food ItemsPlease do not leave donation items on premises if the facility is closed. Notes: **Pre-registration required for the onsite hands-on project.** Your participation - whether a couple of hours of time or a few items for donation - helps make a difference in the lives of the students served by Project 150.
