Press release from the City of West Palm Beach: 11/03/2021 10:12 AM WHO: The City of West Palm Beach and Sandi, the world's only 35-foot-tall, 700-ton holiday sand tree.   WHAT: Starting on Thursday, November 4, 2021, in the morning (exact time to-be-determined), 800-tons of sand will start to be delivered to the West Palm Beach Waterfront over the course of several days (NOTE, there will be no deliveries on the weekend or Veterans Day in honor of the holiday). 700-tons will be used to create Sandi, the holiday sand tree that has become one of the City's most famous and beloved holiday celebrations.  8 – 10 truckloads are expected per day, 8 – 10 truckloads are expected per day, delivering 800-tons of sand in total As with every year, the star of the City of West Palm Beach's Holiday in Paradise (HIP) is returning with a new seasonal theme and new elements. This year Sandi is bringing lots of friends with her to West Palm Beach to celebrate a decade of being an iconic figure for the city.
