First I like to think we're having a discussion. No need to hate. The only ones we'd like to see controlled are the extremists. They seem to be the ones who want to change the discussion to a gun fight. And the irony of all of this is as much as *we* sit here and vehemently defend our positions, the folks in DC go about their lives. They didn't lose a dime during the shut downs. They kept being paid. Some made more money during the shut downs. On ripping on Trump, it's pretty easy. He is in it for the money. Money = power in this mind. And for those who think his policies are great for America has not looked at the long-term affect. Are some good? Sure. But most did nothing but help rich people get richer. And some were just incomplete enough they had no impact on that they were trying to change. The China embargo killed farmers here. The "ban" on travel was nothing but BS. People in "banned" countries could easily travel through places like Italy before coming here. He'd have to ban *all* travel to make it anything good. And personally I'm not a fan of people who take credit for other people's work (we've all had a boss/co-worker like that). I don't like people who think they know everything (because we all know NO ONE knows everything). And Trump continues the lies in order to control a portion of Congresspeople. People who think his "base" is a lot bigger than it is. Trump knows he ain't running in 2024. He only says he is to continue collecting money. THAT'S what he's all about. Money. He hates those who have more and pisses on those who have less. And to those who blame his parents, I agree to a certain extent. At some point in our lives I'd like to think we start to see things as they are today as opposed to your parents perception. But apparently the only thing he learned is to love money over everything else. TDS lives because Dump still plays a pivotal role in shaping GOP policy (ya know lie about everything, accuse the other side of things you're doing, control the voting process in order to control all elections). YES those are the tenets of the current GOP. And he invokes violence from people. He foments it. He stokes it. He puts fuel on the fire. And the innocents are the ones who pay. That's my motivation to fight the lies and bullshit. THAT'S WHY TDS LIVES ON! So say your wet dream comes true and every staunch conservative in the country dies. Now on this unlikely scenario all that is left are commies like yourself, liberals and a fairly big group of low information moderates. You have complete control of political power…can pass any bill, any measure or executive order without fear of losing the next election. What now? So let’s hear your vision of UTOPIA.
