EVERETT, MA — No one was injured after a four-alarm fire broke out in a mixed-use building in Everett at around 5 a.m. Wednesday, the Everett Fire Department said.
The building houses Olivera's Steak Bar & Grill on the first floor, and apartments on the second and third floors. Crews from multiple fire departments, including Medford, Chelsea, Melrose, Somerville, and Cambridge, helped put out the fire at 749 Broadway. The restaurant employs about 40 people, building owner Wilgon Rangel told WHDH News.
The residents were able to escape unharmed, and no firefighters reported injuries, according to a post on the Everett Fire Department's Facebook page.
The Boston Herald reported at least two dozen residents were displaced.

Ferry Street is open; police said to expect delays.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
