GLEN COVE, NY — Nassau County residents hit the polls Tuesday to cast ballots in their local elections. The polls closed at 9 p.m. on Long Island. And the unofficial vote tallies have rolled in to determine numerous key races — including the office of the county executive, Nassau district attorney, and the mayor and council members on the Glen Cove City Council. All 19 county legislative seats are also up for grabs this election cycle, including District 11. It was a great night for Republicans in Glen Cove. According to unofficial vote tallies from Nassau County's election board, Republican Pamela Panzenbeck appears poised to win Glen Cove's mayoral race against Democrat and incumbent Tim Tenke. On the city council, only one incumbent Marsha Silverman (D), has seemingly managed to squeak out a win. Below are the unofficial results for both the City of Glen Cove and Nassau County races.
