Ornamental & Turf Pesticide Training 8:00 – 8:50 Ornamental & Turf Insect Identification Participants will learn to identify lawn and landscape insects. 8:50 – 9:40 Ornamental & Turf Weed Identification Participants will learn to identify lawn and landscape weeds. 9:40 – 10:00 Break 10:00 – 10:50 Ornamental & Turf Disease Identification Participants will learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of lawn and landscape diseases. 10:50 - 11:40 Integrated Pest Management Developing a management strategy. Participants will learn to diagnose and treat problems using Integrated Pest Management. 11:40 – 1:00 Lunch on your own 1:00 1:50 Aquatic Insect and Weed Issues Participants will learn to recognize mosquito and water dwelling weed species. 1:50-2:40 Reading Herbicide Labels and Calculating Application Rates Through hands-on activities, applicators learn how to use products in a manner that reduces the risk of harm to people and the environment. 2:40-3:00 CEUs Issued / Exam
