Press release from the Town of Bedford: November 2, 2021 - 1:30pm The Bedford Local Transit (BLT) is back in service! The BLT is the Town's public transportation service. The van provides door to door transport from your home to the Bedford Senior Center, shopping malls, medical offices, and other stops in Bedford, including Stop and Shop and Whole Foods. The van also goes to Market Basket/Dollar Tree in Billerica every Tuesday. Anyone in Bedford may ride the van and it is wheelchair-accessible. Please contact the new BLT driver, Steve, to book a ride at (781) 275-2255. Transport service operates Monday through Friday 8:30am - 3:00pm. Book ahead, or call-in for rides that day Monday through Friday from 7:30 - 8:30am.
