Job purpose Lile Relocations has been a leader in the transportation business in the Pacific Northwest for over 60 years. As the mover/packer, this position will be responsible in assisting in the packing, loading, and unloading of the truck and ensuring proper equipment as well as handling equipment in the truck, warehouse, and in the field. We have career advancement vertical and lateral across our 7 Branch locations. Especially for Candidates interested in becoming a CDL Driver. Duties and responsibilities 1. Assist in packing, loading and unloading of vehicle: follow directions of the designated lead; assists in completion of inventory. 2. Basic disassembly and reassembly of furniture (i.e. tables, beds, desks, etc) 3. Ensure proper handling equipment is available and loaded on vehicle and put away when jobs are completed; possess knowledge of proper use of equipment. 4. May assist in vehicle preparation as required: check fluids and clean windows and mirrors; assist in cleaning vehicle at end of job. 5.0 Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications include: 1. Ability to understand and follow directions of supervisor. 2. Ability to work as a member of a team to complete assigned tasks in a professional manner. 3. Follow directions of warehouse supervisor when receiving and returning equipment or working in warehouse area. 4. Physical strength and stamina - Performs very hard work: frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 100 pounds; required to bend, reach, and twist to load and unload boxes, furniture or equipment from vehicles & trucks. 5. Constant attention to detail and awareness of safety standards and procedures. Working conditions This job primarily works in an indoor setting, work is physical in nature, with significant physical demands. 95% of time travel to jobs or other branches is common.
