POINT PLEASANT, NJ — Two current members of the Point Pleasant Borough Board of Education appear to have won re-election to the board.
Unofficial results from the Ocean County Board of Elections have Lawrence Williams as the top vote-getter in the school board race, where three, three-year terms were up for election. John Florio has the second-highest total. The third-highest vote total went to Dawn Coughlan, who holds a 200-vote lead over Katharine Vaccarella, with William Munn Jr., who was seeking re-election.

In the Point Pleasant Borough Council race, incumbents Antoinette DePaola and William Borowsky appear to have won re-election, with vote totals that are double those received by their challengers, Democrats Wayne Martiak and Derek Reichenbecher.
The vote tallies are unofficial until the election results are certified by the Ocean County Clerk.
