ARAPAHOE COUNTY, CO — Despite facing lower voter turnout than previous years, Arapahoe was among the top counties in Colorado for voter turnout, state elections data shows.
Before polls closed at 7 p.m. Tuesday, more than 120,000 ballots had been returned in Arapahoe County.
In Colorado, 1,208,926 ballots had been returned before polls closed, according to the Colorado Secretary of State's office. By comparison, in the 2020 General Election, 1.9 million ballots had been returned five days before Election Day.
Jefferson and El Paso counties had the highest ballot return rates in the 2021 election in our state, according to state elections officials.
