Sandy and John Selby spent a month creating the Harry Potter House from scratch. They don't charge for anyone to see the display, but donations go to the Salvation Army. The Selbys say people lined up by the thousands for two days. (KCCI Des Moines) Hazmat crews spent most of Monday cleaning up materials that spilled into the Middle River after a train went off the tracks near Carlisle. The train derailment happened Friday night. Twenty rail cars spilled lumber, salt, 30,000 gallons of corn syrup, and polyethylene pellets. One car went down the riverbank, leaking polyethylene pellets into the river.
