Double Dex is looking for a motivated, self starting, proactive individual for an entry level position. The position requires flexibility in duties, ability to multi-task, ability to work quickly, self manage and take initiative and the ability to dive straight in. This is an entry level shipping position, but experience is preferred. Ideal candidate is a fast learner, has a great deal of common sense, strong attention to detail, solid work ethics, authentic care for all aspects of the company, a level head, and is very reliable. We're looking for a team member and asset who will contribute to our future. We are looking to make this hire ASAP, and applicants that can start immediately will be given priority. Primary Duties The primary duty of this role will be shipping, testing and "checking in" of our inventory. This includes: *Cleaning, packaging and shipping outgoing products *Testing laptop and desktop computers, noting defects, and labeling physical condition *Intake of new computer inventory, creation and assignment of inventory slips, notation of defects and physical condition. Daily Preparation for Open and Close *Taking out and bringing in signs *Ensuring Shipping Area is Clean, Garbage and Cardboard are taken out *Shipping Prep: preparing & testing Adapters; gathering and Putting Together any and all boxes needed for the day *Cleaning Computers: cleaning of outgoing computers using the Double Dex cleaning process; meticulously inspecting computers for any issue before shipment *Shipping & Receiving: shipping and assisting in packaging of computers to be shipped per Double Dex shipping process; assisting with all receiving of orders and packages (large orders, returns, repairs, exchanges, etc.); unpacking incoming computers and completing necessary paperwork *Checking-In Computers: testing and documenting 20 point inspection of incoming computers; removing components in preparation for their next step *Cutting down boxes and recycling *Helping with any items that need to be received *Special projects (any department) as assigned *Adhering to all Double Dex standards as detailed in the Double Dex handbook Requirements Ability to learn computer basics and function on a team Open to change, ability to accept direction and constructive criticism Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively High school degree Must be able to lift 60 lbs Must be able to change pace immediately as the day and work flow dictates Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour with opportunity for advancement
