Here are the top stories in Reno today: A Washoe County sheriff's deputy who hit and killed a motorcyclist last October was found guilty of vehicular manslaughter Tuesday in Reno Justice Court. Deputy Jade Brinson pleaded no contest during a court appearance Tuesday morning, after which Judge Derek Dreiling found him guilty of misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter and ordered him to pay a $1,140 fine. (KRNV My News 4) Aha!, operated by regional carrier Expressjet Airlines, will begin flying between Reno and Palm Springs on Jan. 3. The airline will offer the flights between the cities three times a week. The flight takes 1 hour, 35 minutes.
