LOS ANGELES, CA — A 7-year-old girl was hospitalized Tuesday night after she was struck by a stray bullet at a South Los Angeles intersection. The child is expected to survive her injury, and investigators have not arrested a suspect in the shooting. The girl was struck in the foot at the intersection of Imperial Highway and Central Avenue just north of the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway, according to Deputy Miguel Meza of the Sheriff's Information Bureau. Deputies were called to the scene at 8:45 p.m., and arrived to find the wounded child. She was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood and is hospitalized in stable condition, Meza said. Authorities did not publicly release suspect information, and the shooting remained under investigation Tuesday.
