BUCKS CO., PA — Police in Bucks County have linked two SUVs to a string of residential burglaries that occurred in at least five area communities over the weekend. According to new information from Warrington Township Police, a dark-colored SUV and a white SUV have been linked to the crimes, which were reported on Oct. 30 and 31. RELATED: Masked Men Burglarize Bucks Co. Homes: Police Authorities say the suspects broke into unoccupied homes by smashing rear sliding doors and windows. The burglarized homes were ransacked and jewelry, cash, and personal belongings were taken, police said. Over the course of the investigation, police determined the linked SUVs each had multiple occupants who were dressed in dark clothing, and wore gloves and masks. The white SUV may have an out-of-state license plate, but specifics were not immediately available. Additionally, police said some of the stolen items were later recovered along a highway in Moorestown, New Jersey. The burglaries were reported across Bucks County, including in Warrington, Buckingham, Lower Makefield and Upper Makefield. The new information was made available Wednesday after multiple residents obtained images of the suspect vehicles from their home security systems.
