Locally owned Dog Daycare/Boarding Facility seeking experienced Full-Time Grooming Professional Dog Groomers associated with The Barker Lounge are expected to consistently provide bathing and grooming services of the highest quality. Groomer must have a firm belief in the quality of care and service, as well as compassion and patience to handle all sizes and breeds of dogs. Groomer must have sufficient physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift and/or move heavy dogs and objects, the dexterity and confidence to handle, bathe, and groom dogs who may exhibit fear, and the ability to monitor dogs for signs of distress or disease. Groomer must understand facility’s health requirements. Groomer must have excellent communication skills, ability to provide attention to detail, and a strong dedication to outstanding service. Punctuality a must! We are seeking a team player, with a professional and friendly attitude. We are a positive, force-free facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Must always place the health and safety of the pet first! Knowledge of breed standards to perform service to expectations Strong communication skills to build relationships with devoted dog lovers Responsible for organization and cleanliness of groom area Job Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience grooming dogs in a professional environment Must have availability to suit business needs (including weekends) Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment Please send us your resume, along with professional references, and photos of your work.
