MINNETONKA, MN — Deb Calvert appears to have won reelection to the Minnetonka City Council, according to unofficial vote totals. With all votes in, Calvert passed the 50 percent mark needed to win in the city's ranked-choice voting system. Calver ran for "Seat A." According to the city of Minnetonka: If no candidate wins a majority (50% + 1) of first-preference votes, the candidate with the fewest first-preference votes is eliminated, and all first-preference votes for the eliminated candidate are also eliminated.
