FREMONT, CA — Southbound traffic on I-880 is backed up for miles because of a crash. The California Highway Patrol issued a Sig-Alert because of the crash, which is blocking two lanes at Highway 237 in Milpitas. Traffic is backed up all the way to Mission Boulevard in Fremont. Drivers can take southbound I-680 as an alternate route, or the Dumbarton Bridge.
