Job Title: Cannabis Cultivator & Processor with Tractor Experience Location: Talent, OR Position Type: Full Time - up to 40 hours/week, additional hours during harvest Rate: $17-$19 Hourly, Based Upon Experience Cultivators and Processors are the backbone of our farm. They are crucial to the daily operations and long-term goals, and growing exceptional cannabis. We are seeking a candidate with experience on a tractor and its implements. Small engine maintenance and repair would be a bonus. We strive to cultivate a cohesive, energetic, and happy work-life on the farm where all team members are highly valued. Primary Requirements: -Experience growing outdoor cannabis: utilizing multiple growing mediums, supporting microbial soil organisms, nutrient regimens, cultivation methodologies, environmental requirements, and cultivation techniques. Experience with monitoring and assessing plant health and identifying issues, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. -Willingness to always be learning. -Experience with cannabis propagation is helpful. -Harvesting, bucking, and trimming cannabis. -Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. -Basic understanding and ability to follow all OLCC and Oregon state laws pertaining to cannabis cultivation. -Understanding of the security and safety issues regarding cannabis cultivation. -Ability and desire to work within a collaborative team to accomplish goals as set forth by managers and/or owners. -Ability to follow directions and to get things done and make decisions in an autonomous work environment without extensive oversight. -Willingness to ask any and all questions as necessary. -Experience working in Metrc is a plus. Primary duties include, but are not limited to: -Work with the lead cultivator and field hands to accomplish daily, weekly, and seasonal goals. -All general farm fieldwork: digging/shoveling, transplanting, weeding, harvesting, moving materials/items, cloning, and light miscellaneous construction as skill level allows. -Working with soil nutrients and fertilizers. -Regular and repetitive use of sharp tools, pruners, and/or scissors. -Participate in ongoing and repetitive tasks such as hanging cannabis, taking down cannabis, bucking, trimming, pruning, etc. -Regular cleaning and organization of farm materials, equipment, and tools. -Installing, maintaining, monitoring, and repairing simple irrigation systems. -Working in highly varied weather conditions. -Attention to detail. -Ability to follow directions and MUST be a team player. -Tolerance for ambiguity.
