MACOMB COUNTY — The Macomb County Sheriff's Office told residents Wednesday to contact the office if they receive a call from someone claiming to be an employee and asking for money. Officials said the caller does not work for the office, and Macomb County Officials will not request money in the form of cash, gift cards or bitcoin for an arrest, sex offender registration or jury duty.
