COLUMBUS, OH — Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has been exposed to COVID-19. Two of DeWine's staffers tested positive for the virus recently. They had close contact with DeWine and his wife Fran. "Both of the DeWines have been fully vaccinated and received their boosters, and have tested negative for COVID at this time and have no symptoms," DeWine's office said in a news release. "The DeWines will not participate in previously scheduled events in person through Sunday and will continue to be tested daily for COVID-19." Live in Cleveland? DeWine, 74, had a COVID-19 scare in August 2020. The governor initially tested positive for the virus prior to meeting with then-President Donald Trump. DeWine, his family and staffers had to be pulled from the event. They would all later test negative, indicating they may have received a false positive.
