Good afternoon Lee County, We are currently hiring positions for a secondary HVAC Instructor to teach a basic A/C Maintenance and Diagnostics course and are currently aiming to hire for classes beginning in January of next year. REQUIREMENTS -Minimum 4 YEARS in HVAC Field -Speak, Read, Write Fluent English -Teaching Experience NOT REQUIRED, but a plus -Have stable transportation to work -Speaking Spanish is a plus Instructor will have complete control of class, allowing they follow the pre-set curriculum we've designed for them, including (but not limited to) subjects such as: -Refrigeration Cycle -Physical Properties of Refrigeration (Pressure, Temperature, Energy) -Electrical Wiring and Diagnostics -Motor Diagnostics -Heat Pumps -Chiller Systems As well as be able to teach workshop classes which include (but are not limited to) the following: -Brazing -Pulldowns -Vacuums -Recovery -Electrical Wiring -Electrical Diagnostics -Motor Diagnostics Classes are generally FOUR (4) hours long, standing the entire time. PAYMENT: We offer a non-negotiable rate of $25/hr, BENEFITS: $100 referral pay programs for any student you refer who registers and shows up first day of class, as well as holidays off Schedule is tentative as you are only required to come in on days you have class, but generally the classes runs Monday-Thursdays 6PM-10PM and Saturday 10AM-2PM meeting once a week.
