The American Lung Association in Florida announced that the 4th annual Lip Sync For Lungs presented by AdventHealth Orlando will take place at the Sak Comedy Lab on Wednesday, November 10. The event will return to an in-person event after being virtual last year, and this year, the organization will also offer a virtual option to people who can’t attend the in-person event.
Money raised at the Lip Sync For Lungs will fund the Lung Association’s efforts to end lung cancer and lung disease, as well as support the Lung Association’s COVID-19 Action Initiative. The COVID-19 Action Initiative is a $25 million investment to address COVID-19 and protect against future respiratory virus pandemics.
For the event, local celebrities execute epic lip sync performances to songs of their choice, all to win the top spot of Lip Sync Battle Champion. Former Lip Sync Battle Champions include The Young Lawyers Division of the Orange County Bar Association, led by Brandon Sapp, Steve Gunter of The Taproom at Dubsdread, Tony Sos of Dellecker Wilson King McKenna Ruffier & Sos, and Nate Carn and Armando Castenada who represented various fire departments in Volusia County.
