SOLANO COUNTY, CA — Police announced three arrests Monday in the death of a 19-year-old girl reported missing Saturday night to the Fairfield Police Department. Leilani Beauchamp, of Carmel, was last seen leaving a Halloween party in Sacramento with two active-duty U.S. Air Force members who live on Cascade Lane in Fairfield, police said. Members of the Fairfield Police Department and Travis Air Force Base's Office of Special Investigation worked together to investigate the case and believe a homicide took place at the Cascade Lane residence, Fairfield police Lt. Jausiah Jacobsen said. Beauchamp's remains were found Sunday in Monterey County, Jacobsen said. Three people have since been arrested in connection with Beauchamp's death: Jessica Quintanilla, 21, of Pittsburg, is suspected of homicide; Juan Parra-Peralta, 20, of Fairfield, is suspected of accessory to murder; and Marco Quintanilla, 27, of Pittsburg, who is on parole for a previous attempted murder conviction, is suspected of accessory to murder. Parra-Peralta is an airman 1st class assigned to the 60th aerial port squadron at Travis Air Force Base near Fairfield and was arrested on base by Fairfield police. Police said Jessica Quintanilla and Marco Quintanilla are sister and brother but declined to disclose a suspected motive or the nature of the relationship between the Quintanillas and Parra-Peralta. Solano County jail records show the Quintanillas were arrested Sunday night at Railroad Avenue and Linscheid Drive in Pittsburg. Both remained in custody Tuesday without bail. Parra-Peralta was reportedly released on $25,000 bail pending a court appearance. By early Tuesday afternoon, more than $4,000 in donations were made to a GoFundMe campaign for Beauchamp's funeral costs. "Our oldest daughter is no longer with us," her mother, Violet Giovanni, wrote on the GoFundMe page. "No parent should have to bury their child ... Leilani, or 'Lani' as many of you have known her, was our oldest daughter, who at the extreme young age of only 19, was taken from us. We will miss her smile, her laugh, her caring demeanor, her strong will, her passion for life and the love she brought to our family. We love you Leilani." Police asked the public to respect the privacy of Beauchamp's family. "While nothing positive will come from this horrible crime, the partnership and teamwork exhibited resulted in the timely closure of this investigation," Lt. Jacobsen said. "We are deeply saddened by the events that have transpired. Our thoughts, and condolences go out to Leilani's loved ones. Please respect their privacy as they deal with this tragic loss."
