Natural Resources Design is an award-winning, ecologically-focused landscape design firm offering design and build services to high-end residential, commercial, and municipal clients. Our company is growing rapidly, so we’re seeking an Operations Manager/Install Manager to ensure the smooth operation and profitability of the install division as well as the yard and crew operations. This position is a full-time position, reporting to the Company Owner, and works in coordination with the Maintenance Manager and others. What you will do: - Project manager and quality control manager for most/all installation projects - Oversee installation crew - Assist in prep of job estimates - Yard management, including job prep and yard cleanup at start/end of day - Equipment and vehicle repair and maintenance (via local servicers) - Crew management and scheduling - Storage yard supplies ordering and inventory management - Safety and Trainings Requirements: - 5 plus years as landscape crew leader - Experience in grading, hardscaping, stormwater facilities preferred - 3 years experience driving bobcat, skid steer, forklift - CDL and trailer expertise - 2 years experience in training crew members - Able to be at yard in Burtonsville MD by 6:30am Mon-Friday - Knowledge of truck and machinery maintenance and repair - Good references - English and Spanish speaking preferred but not required Pay and benefits: - Pay range: $50,000-65,000 depending on experience - Benefits for full time staff include PTO and 50% of employee’s health insurance premium Location and schedule: - Work will be performed primarily at the yard location in Burtonsville MD. - Regular hours are 6:30am - 5:30pm, Mon-Fri and occasional Saturdays. - Must be willing to work outside regular hours as needed to support urgent company needs.
