WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester man reported missing on Monday has been found dead, according to police and the Worcester County District Attorney. Worcester police asked for the public's help locating Akif Qutab, 31, on social media posts on Monday. On Tuesday, state police searched Leominster State Forest near the Princeton-Westminster line where police found Qutab's car. Worcester County DA Joseph Early Jr. did not immediately say if Qutab's death was suspicious. "The death is under investigation by the State Police Detectives assigned to the Worcester County DA's Office," Early's office said in a tweet Tuesday afternoon. The Worcester Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating Akif Qutab, who is missing and might be in danger. His vehicle was located in Princeton, but he has not been found. If you have any knowledge of his whereabouts, please call 911. pic.twitter.com/QsPUQ47O1p— Worcester PD (@WorcesterPD) November 2, 2021
