About the company: Liquid & Grit provides analysis and recommendations to leading mobile game developers. We break down popular games and trends to see what makes them work and help make them even better. We are located in California but have an entirely remote workforce. If you’re self-directed and want to manage your own schedule, we want to hear from you. About the role: As a newsletter writer, you’ll be in charge of researching and writing monthly reports on the latest developments in the mobile gaming industry. These reports will focus on changes within the industry as well as current events that affect mobile game developers, like new regulations, COVID-19, and more. This is a remote contract position for consistent, ongoing work: 15–25 hours per week at $40/hour with room to grow. The ideal applicant: Writes well. Learns fast, takes initiative, and pays attention to details. Has a solid understanding of games. Can present technical information in a conversational tone. Knows how to perform research in a variety of fields. Isn’t afraid of some light number-crunching. Is familiar with Google Docs. No professional experience is necessary, but you will need to write at a professional level.
