Al's Specialty Marine of Rochester Minnesota, a successful dealership for over 40 years, is currently seeking a full time technician. We sell Ranger and Lund boats and Premier Pontoons. We sell and service Mercury, Yamaha, and Evinrude outboard motors. We are one of the oldest dealers in Minnesota and are planning to be around for a long time and we are looking for another technician to go forward with us.
Job duties will include:
-Rigging and preparing of new and used boats.
-Diagnose and repair of boats, motors, and trailers.
-Installation, testing, and/or repair of accessories such as trolling motors, depthfinders, power poles,
jack plates, radios, etc.
-Use of fork lift to unload incoming freight.
Skills desired:
-Ability and willingness to learn.
-A strong mechanical aptitude.
-Basic electrical knowledge. (12 volts)
-Ability to work well with others.
-Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
-Ability to operate a fork lift and a skid loader.
-Marine repair experience is a big plus.
