Bassist/vocalist and guitarist/vocalist seek a drummer. We have TWO turnkey studios complete with drum kits. What we need is someone that wants to WRITE and RECORD music. Specifically we have a heavy rock/progressive rock/metal/doom/stoner/psych vibe. We are looking for the right fit. We want someone that is consistent, involved and that really loves to write and perform music. I'm not really interested in excuses for why someone couldn't rehearse or a half-assed, phoned-in sense of involvement. If you're interested in some of our past music, I can send you links. This would be an all new band though, still needing a name and an identity etc. So, you'd be on the ground floor of this project, not walking into something where you need to learn a gazillion songs. We literally have two songs currently and a handful of covers we can do to get warmed up. (Some sabbath and some Hendrix, not really going too far down the "cover" rabbit hole). Okay, so, we'd tentatively rehearse ONE to two times per week. We are hoping to rarely (and almost never) cancel a rehearsal, because then half a month goes by and we lose a lot of ground. I can record and mix every rehearsal and send it out to the members so we can review between sessions. This project will be about the three members doing their homework between sessions and showing up to rehearsal already practiced, not to come practice AT rehearsal, per se. We have a professional level recording environment. We are both 43 and 52 years of age but, are young guys at heart. Tattooed, weed friendly, laid back, trippy dudes that really love writing music. We can both sing. We have pro gear. You don't even need to bring a drum set... maybe a cymbal you love or your double kick if that's your thing. We look forward to hearing from you!
