THE POSITION : Operations Leads take ownership for all aspects of picking orders and shipping products to consumers as well as receiving/stocking inbound products onto shelves, performing cycle counts and other work. We look for the Leads to make sure we hit all the goals and tasks for the day. • Organize and guide the team through their daily work to accomplish all receiving, picking and packing duties o Receive Every Pallet – Every Day o Ship Every Order – Every Day • Entrusted with opening and closing the facility • Print and organize orders • Run reports for operations leadership as required • Identify Warm Weather shipping conditions • Daily interaction with Customer Service to investigate issues with inventory and/or orders • Good knowledge of warehouse operations – stock locations, picking sequences, package pick-ups, etc. • Perform cycle-counts and annual physical inventory • Ability to work without direct oversight • Can assist in picking, packing, warm-weather packing, kit-building and gift making as needed • stocking and organizing warehouse shelves • must be comfortable using rolling, 12-foot ladders for order picking and product put-away and occasionally lifting up to 60 pounds. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: • a strong desire to continually learn and improve • be highly organized and neat • have a detail orientation • have the ability to work well in a small company setting • be team players and have a knack for helping the team succeed • be flexible and willing to pitch in wherever needed • possess a customer focused orientation • a strong work ethic • ability to lift up to 50 pounds • basic math skills required • legible handwriting is important • previous warehouse experience required • The ability to thrive in a small company setting • High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred An interest in great food is important. Experience in a gourmet food retailing or catalog business is a plus. Hours: This is a Full-Time position. We operate 6-days a week, Sunday - Friday. Your normal schedule will be 5-days per week. Compensation: • Pay is subject to experience • 5% PTO, which can be paid out monthly instead of accruing it • Participation in company bonus plan • 40% employee discount • Permanent employees are eligible for our benefit plans after required waiting periods including Health Insurance Plan, Dental Plan, 401k Retirement Plan, and more. Hours: Normal operation is 10am – 7pm. Hours and schedules may vary.
