Sadie is a petite, intact AKC Golden Retriever that I drove all the way down to Dallas this past weekend to pick up. After the first hour of being fidgety, she settled right down and did a fabulous job the last 7 hours of the drive. She had no accidents in the car and did her business quickly when we made potty stops. In typical Golden fashion she is a total “Love Bug” and absolutely LOVES to be with you wherever you are. Sadie is 13 months old and comes complete with beautiful, soft golden hair, lots of spunk with tons of love and puppy energy! She is kennel trained and sleeps quietly in it at night. She loves kids (they had 3), cats, dogs and is UTD on all her shots. We were told she was housebroke but she has had a few accidents in the house since being here but has done much better since being let out often. Sadie knows the commands sit, down, uh uh (my version of no). She loves going outside on the leash to explore the world. Sadie has not chewed on anything she shouldn’t. She loves dog toys and chew bones. She plays fetch AND will bring it back! She plays Tug of War with a cute play growl. Sadie is food motivated which will come in handy during training to help her become her very best. Why are we re-homing her? Much to our surprise we discovered she is too high energy for our Senior Golden Retriever. Our normally happy go lucky and smiling Senior boy is clearly not happy since her arrival. Evidently I missed the memo that he'd like to bask in quiet solitude.
