Male vocalist looking to start a band focusing on the first wave of British new wave-Elvis Costello, Graham Parker, Joe Jackson, Squeeze, Rockpile, Ian Dury, Nick Lowe, XTC, etc, as well as Roxy, Bowie, Sweet, Slade, Status Quo, and maybe some later new-romantic bands such as Spandau Ballet, ABC, Ultravox, etc Seeking keys, 2 guitars, bass and drums to start. Players must be highly proficient on their instruments. Backing vocals with strong harmony vox required for at least 2 band members, more is better. Multi-instrumentalists strongly encouraged! Age/Gender/Musical preferences not even remotely important, but a desire to work as a group and the ability to play nice (and not just musically) is non-negotiable.
