I never even implied guilt by Trump himself regarding the Russia Probe, in any of my posts. You seem to be putting words in my mouth. Again, I wasn't in this thing when this was happening. I'm normally apathetic to politics. I started to pay attention in light of Covid in particular, due to having covid-vulnerable people in my life that I care about, and enough background in science to understand the situation better than most. I posted in the first place because I was getting really sick and tired of the Covid, Jan 6th, and election conspiracy theories. Your initial response to my initial post was a whataboutism and assumed that I was the one screaming Russia. Even if there were indeed a "plot against the prez", two wrongs do NOT make a right. If whataboutisms are fair game...would your head not be absolutely exploding if Hunter did what Don Jr did? Regardless of legality. I'm literally learning as I go (on the Russia Probe), for the sake of discussion and for my own knowledge. As a relatively fresh mind to the Russia Probe, and as someone who does preach objectivity, I know better than to trust one news source, that's why I cross reference several (There was a NYT article that claims to have anonymous sources for instance, and I did not cite that one or its findings because guess what - I don't trust it). There really ought to be more dead center or right leaning news sources that aren't batshit insane, because I would read them. Brietbart, OANN, etc are a little too wild for my tastes... You know, a different perspective rather than let's just make stuff up. So your evidence consists of dropping the names Rosenstein and Monfort (Manafort). I'm just not impressed with that. You don't trust Rosenstein and you think Manafort got thrown under the bus. These are still feelings, not facts, even if it seems obvious to you. Trump on his own is just an idiot and a conman, not a dictator. It's the relationship between Trump and his base that I didn't like. There is no such "rabid support" for Biden, and that gives me calm.
