The Party Team is hiring! We are an entertainment gig company specializing in funny money Casino Parties, DJ’s and Photo Booths. You actually get paid to have fun at other people's parties. We are looking for fun, friendly people to join our team. We do not require any formal casino dealing experience - only that you know at least one casino game very well. Our positions are very part-time. All of our gigs are in the evening (some time between 530pm and 1130pm usually), and most gigs are on Friday and Saturday nights. We typically have 2-3 events a month. Almost all gigs are at local event venues like the Salem Convention Center. Pay is $17.50 per hour and most gigs will have an option to receive tips too (an average of about $10/hr)! Dress code is black slacks/skirt, pressed long-sleeve white or black button-up dress shirt, and black dress shoes. Our parties are a blast. We give each guest a stack of funny money, and our dealer team does an awesome job of showing them how to play and making sure everyone has a great time. It's no big deal if you mess up a hand - guests are just there to have fun. Applicants must know at least one of the following games well enough to teach someone else the rules and strategy of the game. For example, in Texas Hold’em poker you would know how to split pots. In blackjack you would know double-downs and splits. Must have your own dependable transportation and be diligent about checking email. Applicants must be available for a group interview in Salem on Sunday, November 14th at 5pm. We will be able to show you how to deal there as well.
