You are invited to the screening of Film South's new American History documentary "American Freedom, Ideas and Conflicts: World War II." This film is the first of eight episodes in Film South's new American History Series called "American Freedom, Ideas and Conflicts." Produced by local filmmaker/writer/director/producer Fleming "Tex" Fuller. This public screening event is co-sponsored with WHDA and the Historic Port of Washington Project. Seating will be limited to 60 guests. Admission is free, but donations are accepted. Masks are encouraged. Tex is originally from Kinston, NC, attended UNC-Chapel Hill, BA History '68, fell in love with film after college while traveling in Africa to photograph big game and wildlife. Some of his film credits include: as Director (Prey of the Chameleon, Stranded, America Undercover TV Series, Mom, I want to Come home now) as Writer (An Incidental Kill, TV Documentary Murder One, Prey of the Chameleon). The Historic Port of Washington Project (HPOW) is a group of dedicated volunteers who are working to preserve and share with the public the history of Washington, N. C. as a port.
