The Academy for Classical Education: A Legacy in Sound Orchestra Concert

ACE Junior and Senior High Orchestra will be presenting their first orchestra concert. Featured is double bassist Austin Carter. Our first concert of the 2021-2022 school year will begin with beginning junior high orchestra students, followed by our intermediate junior high students, directed by ACE Orchestra teacher, Rachael Smith. Austin Carter will be featured playing the first movement of the Capuzzi Double Bass Concerto with our high school orchestra students. Local adult musicians will join the high school orchestra for the conclusion of our concert combining to create a full orchestra. Pieces will include an arrangement of The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Ode to Joy, and Waltz of the Flowers. The program will be conducted by Dr. Richard Bell, Clayton State University.
