Hi! We're designing a solar-powered minisplit with 110v backup power. We want a flexible lineset to be attached to the outside unit and ship precharged, and have the inside unit also be charged, such that the flexible lineset can be attached to the inside unit using a pneumatic-type connector for easy do-it-yourself installers and not require a vacuum. Can you make this work? How can we test to make sure that this works consistently? Can the linset be unclipped after using and re-attached later with minimal refrigerant leaking? What would keep it from working?
