Sudbury Will Hold Veterans Day Appreciation Breakfast

SUDBURY, MA — Sudbury will mark Veterans Day 2021 with a breakfast for service members and family members. The 1st Lt. Scott Milley Foundation is sponsoring the Nov. 10 breakfast at the Sudbury Senior Center, 40 Fairbank Road. The event is open to veterans and their spouses or partners. The Milley Foundation was created to honor Army Ranger Scott Milley, 23, a Sudbury native who died on Nov. 30, 2010, during an attack in the Baraki Barak district of Afghanistan. A memorial in Sudbury's Pine Lakes neighborhood memorializes Milley, and serves as the starting point of an annual Thanksgiving race that raises money for his foundation.
