Locksmith Apprentice Wanted Bomac’s Inc. Locksmiths Since 1947 is looking for an enthusiastic person who is interested in pursuing a career as a locksmith. Bomac’s has been serving Contra Costa County and beyond for over 74 years and has immeasurable experience and knowledge we want to share with the appropriate candidate. The appropriate candidate will start as an in house locksmith learning the basics from the ground up until moving into a commercial vehicle for in field training. In field training will cover residential work, commercial work, automotive work, and access control. We are looking for a person who wants to commit to a career as a locksmith with a reliable, dependable, consistent, trustworthy, reputable, family owned, and multi generational company. Bomac’s has stable Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm operating hours where no one is asked or required to work over time, weekends, or after hours emergency services. -Employees with Bomac’s receive eleven paid time off days after one years employment and earn additional paid time off days with company longevity. -Employees with Bomac’s have an option to Kaiser medical benefits after sixty days employment. -Employees with Bomac’s start receiving a company funded retirement package after one years employment and become fully vested after six years employment. -Bomac’s offers set hours with set pay, not hourly. An apprentice with no locksmith knowledge or experience will start at state legal minimum wage earning salary increases as the apprentice proves value to the company. Candidates will need to be punctual, professional, courteous, and have a desire to learn and advance in our industry. Bomac’s will provide everything else needed to teach you time management, customer service skills, good communication skills, and all things locksmith related.
