Medfield Historical Society Asks You To Share Your COVID Journal By David Temple, Society President Imagine this scene 100 years from now - your great-great-grandson or daughter walks up the steps in our Historical Society building at 6 Pleasant Street and wants to learn about day-to-day life in Medfield during the historic COVID pandemic in 2020-22. Information requests like this are everyday events at historical societies. Now's your chance to make it easy for the curator on duty to reply, "Yes, of course. That was a really challenging time for the people who went through it. Here are some of their journals and letters for you to look at." In the society, we're building a file with your letters, emails, pictures, and other memorabilia of COVID. The best thing would be personal stories of your family and friends' experiences. Please send them in via email ([email protected]) or snail mail to 6 Pleasant Street, Medfield. There will be periodic updates in The Portal newsletter on what comes in.
