✓ 6yo, 8lb, female, Chihuahua-mix ✓ Will be spayed before adoption (appointment in 2 days) ✓ House broken ✓ Great with other dogs ✓ Comfortable in crates Personality: Chela is a dog that loves her people and loves being a lap dog. She climbed onto her foster parents' laps within 2 mins of being brought home and fell asleep on the family dog who is 5x her size. She is very confident inside the house and doesn't bat an eyelid on the stairs or around vacuum cleaners. She is a little scared of the world outside her home and prone to do the Chihuahua-tremble if a loud truck goes by. She loves treats and will get over her fear pretty quickly if there is a treat in sight. Activity level: She is a pretty flexible dog when it comes to activity. She is happy to be a couch potato and sleep next to or on you but also happy to go on long walks. Family: Chela loves other dogs and will do great in homes with other dogs. She doesn't have any resource guarding issues with food. We are not sure how she is with cats or with kids. Because she can be nervous, she'll probably do better in families without kids or with older kids who can be patient with her early on. History: Chela was given up by her family after 6 years for no fault of her own. She was then adopted by someone who returned her in 2 days because she was not a good fit and nipped at them.
