ISLIP, NY — The votes are in. Suffolk residents went out to the polls November 2nd to choose who will be Suffolk County's 10th Legislative District this Election Day.
Voters chose between Islip council member Trish Bergin (R), and community leader Carla Simpson (D).
As of past midnight, Bergin had gained 7,260 votes, or 67.07 percent, compared to Fidelia's 3,559, or 32.88 percent.
