Press release from the Providence Volunteer Fire Company: 2021-11-02 October has been a busy month for the Providence Volunteer Fire Company. Providence ran a total of 120 calls for service in the month. Here is a sampling of the some of the calls we ran over this period; 14 motor vehicle collisions, 35 emergency medical service calls, and 3 major fires. As we head into the colder months be sure to practice fire safety behavior. Make sure you have working smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and get your chimney swept and inspected professionally.
