Oyster Babies Early Childhood Centers is seeking to immediately hire enthusiastic, energetic FULL-TIME TEACHERS for our year-round INFANTS program at each location: OYSTER BABIES EAST in HUNTINGTON, LI. & OYSTER BABIES in OYSTER BAY, LI. We offer COMPETITIVE PAY & SIGN-ON BONUSESWe provide ON-GOING TRAINING & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENTWe will SPONSOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATES to take CDA(Details to be discussed) OPERATING HOURS:MONDAYS - > FRIDAYSFULL-TIME hours are between:OYSTER BAY - 7:00am & 5:00pmHUNTINGTON - 9:00am & 6:00pm The INFANTS TEACHER will be responsible for the: Daily supervision of the children & classroom;Accommodating individual schedules and needs;Facilitating age-appropriate activities. Qualified INFANTS TEACHER applicants must have: Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field; and,At least one (1) year experience related to caring for infants and toddlers. - OR -  Infants and Toddler Child Care and Education credential; or, Infants Toddler Child Development Associate credential; or, other Office-recognized credential specific to the infant/toddler developmental period; and, Two (2) years experience related to caring for infants and toddlers. - OR -  Child Development Associate credential; and, Two (2) years experience caring for children, one on which much be related to caring for infants or toddlers. - OR -  Nine (9) college credits in Early Childhood, Child Development, or a related field with a plan of study leading to:o Infants and Toddler Child Care and Education credential; or,o Infant Toddler Development Associate credential; or,o Other Office-recognized credential specific to the infant/toddler developmental period; or,o Associate's Degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or a related field; AND, * Two (2) years experience related to caring for children, one of which must be related to working with infants and toddlers. Familiarity with Bank Street/Montessori/Reggio Emilia methodology, a plus. Local residency, preferable. Salary range: $14-$21/hr.
